Intelligent Qube For Playstation 1

Intelligent Qube
I bought this game back in 1999 for the original Playstation because it was severely discounted. You know, like when a game isn't doing to well sales-wise the store drops the price a lot. It was called Intelligent Qube and I didn't like it at all. I bought a football game at the same time that I couldn't tell you the name of right now but I played it all day and night (along with Tekken 3, wooo!)
Anyhow, Intelligent Qube got stuffed in my not-so-great video games drawer and there it sat for a few months until the football game got boring. When I finally learned how to actually play Intelligent Qube I was addicted! It was a very difficult game to play and super fun. I never really mastered Intelligent Qube and it got lost in moving from California to Minnesota somewhere so I never beat the game. On top of that I forgot the name of it!
I recently started digging around the internet and remembered the title! And then quickly saw that it is a very rare game and very expensive. Lame. I'm going to start saving some pennies and try to pick the thing up on eBay (should be about $80 for a new one.) Then I can finish what I started damn near ten years ago!
Original NES Mike Tysons Punchout
Mike Tysons Punchout is some OG Stuff! Mike Tysons Pucnhout should really be considered one of the greatest games of all time. The beginning of the game pits you, Lil' Mac, up against fictional boxers with the ultimate goal of reaching the final conflict against the one and only Mike Tyson.
Mike Tyson fell into more than a bit of trouble in the early 90's so they changed the game to Punchout and replaced Mike Tyson with Mr. Dream. This does not take away from how great of a game it is but nobody can replace Mike Tyson. Sorry Nintendo.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Van

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Van
Did it get much cooler the the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Van? With the spoiler, room for all of your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle action figures and the cool stickers, it was always one of my favorite toys. I love the big wheels in back and the smaller wheels up front. Classic 80's van styling with a cartoon flare.
Nowadays people sporting custom vans are not in the "cool" catagory but the Teenage Mutant Ninja Party Van will always be cool as far as I'm concerned. It's certainly a must if you want to be able to stash your TMNT Action Figures in a decent place other than tossing them under your bed.
Find An Original NES For Sale

Original NES
The Original NES is arguably the most collectible video game console around. The NES was extremely popular in the late 80's/early 90's.
The Nintendo Entertainment System offered classic games like Super Mario Brothers, Double Dragon, Mike Tyson's Punchout and many more classics. My personal favorite was always Super Mario Brothers 3. Talk about entertaining! I could turn it now on my own NES and have hours of fun!
The original NES did have it's problems with hardware however. Anyone that owned one for long enough would have had trouble loading games and the controllers were also an issue.
Fortunately, eBay is around now to offer replacement parts that are in perfectly good shape. And for a system that is so collectible, it's possible to find cheap Nintendo Entertainment System consoles and accessories listed on eBay. Many of these Nintendo Consoles have been restored to working order. Look to pick up Contra or Mike Tyson's Punchout and take yourself back to the good old days of the Original NES!

Find The Original G1 Transformers Optimus Prime

G1 Optimus Prime
Pictured left is an extremely well preserved G1 Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime should be the first target for any G1 Transformers collector. Thankfully Optimus Prime is fairly easy to find in eBay listings so tracking one down is not difficult.
Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots, rivals of the evil Decepticons. Optimus is depicted in the cartoon series of the Transformers as being a gentle giant, always willing to help the people of Earth and Stand for justice. Optimus was a hero to many loyal Transformers fans and continues to be the most poplular of Transformers to this day.
With so much popularity, Optimus Prime was one of the better selling G1 Transformers in it's day. This makes Optimus much more common than you would think and keeps the price of an original Optimus Prime reasonable.
Check out this feed of the most up to date eBay listings for G1 Optimus Prime action figures.

LEGO Volkswagen Beetle LTD Edition

LEGO Volkswagen Beetle
I came across an auction on eBay today of a LEGO Volkswagen Beetle LTD Edition. I didn't know anything about this particular LEGO Set, so I went ahead and did a bit of research. I actually found the LEGO Beetle for sale at LEGO.com which is not normal so it must be pretty new. According to the LEGO Group:
LEGO® fans around the world named the famed Volkswagen Beetle as the classic car that they most wanted as a LEGO model…and now it’s finally here! Based on the iconic 1960 “Charlotte” model, the LEGO Volkswagen Beetle features realistic details and functions like opening doors, hood and trunk, a spare tire in the front and engine in the back, an accurate interior, and more.
Apparently we as a LEGO community voted the Beetle as the car we most wanted as a LEGO model. I think I may have voted for a corvette myself but that's just me. LEGO is selling the LEGO Volkswagen Beetle LTD Edition for a cool $119 bucks at their official site but I'm sure you can pick it up cheaper if you look around a bit.

How To Find G1 Transformers In Mint Condition
March 22, 2009 by Admin
G1 Transformers continue to demand a premium from collectors and sellers. Transformers from the 80's are just so much better than the new releases since then. Maybe it's because they were designed in the 80's. Or maybe it's because the original Transformers cartoon was so successful that the original figures just take us back. Either way it's clear that demand for these vintage action figures is only going to increase so we need to find better ways of finding G1 Transformers in mint condition. Of course you could always go with Transformers 2 toys, but it is up to you!

Mint Vintage Transformers
To help myself to easily find these mint condition G1 Transformer action figures, I have set up a RSS Feed that pulls up the best current eBay auctions for G1 Transformers. This list filters out non relavent auctions so that I only see the best G1 Transformers that are not way overpriced. Finding the latest G1 Transformers as they become available is much easier than you think! Simply subscribe the this RSS feed usig your favorite RSS reader and get daily updates on only the best vintage G1 Transformers. G1 Transformers will only continue to rise in demand with the release of the Transformers movies. With the rise in vintage Transformer prices it makes sense to buy now if you plan on owning a certain Transformers figure. Waiting because you think the prices may go down is a bad idea. Heck just look at the prices being fetched for Fortress Maximus. Those prices would not have been seen even 5 years ago. If you plan on buying at some point, the time is now.
Finding LEGO Pirate Collectors Sets

Vintage LEGO Pirate Minifig
Vintage LEGO Pirate sets are becoming increasingly difficult to find. I have always been a fan of the Pirate LEGO series, especially the early 90's, late 80's sets. I use a custom search for LEGO Pirates using eBay to find some of the more valuable, hard to find sets out there. This search is in a RSS Feed format so that I can get regular updates in the latest auctions for LEGO Pirates, but I have filtered out all the inconsequential listings that aren't very valuable or are just plain overpriced.
LEGO Pirate Minifigures are unique in that they are the first LEGO minifigures released with variations to the minifigures' heads. Rather than a plain face and smile, the Pirate LEGO minifigures had facial hair, eyepatches and hair. Many of these minifigures also had a variety of facial expressions that really brought out the characters of these LEGO Pirates.
LEGO is releasing a new version of the Pirates series for 2009. This will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the original LEGO Pirates themed sets.

Transformers G1 Fortress Maximus

What can you say? The Holy Grail of Generation 1 Transformers, Fortress Maximus is as rare a find as it gets in vintage toy collecting. A complete, mint, in the box G1 Fortress Maximus would fetch well over a thousand dolllars in an eBay auction (I have seen it happen.)

Fortress Maximus
Finding a complete Fortress Maximus is difficult because of a couple of reasons. The first is the price the original Fortress Maximus commanded. At $89.95 this toy was well out of reach of your average consumer for the time. Hell it would be out of reach for todays average shopper. Another reason it's so hard to find a complete Fortress Maximus is that there are so many parts! Keeping track over the years of all of those parts and pieces is tough so for a complete set to have survived this long would take effort on the part of the owner.
Find a Vintage Thundercats Lion-O Figure

One thing that is more appealing to me about collecting vintage Thundercats action figures is that there is no where near the amount of demand for these items as there is for other classic cartoon action figures, so you can generally pick them up a lot cheaper.
Scanning through a quick search on eBay for vintage Thundercats shows a fairly low amount of searches and also doesn't list anything higher than $150. Not that $150 isn't a lot, just that other vintage toy searches can show prices much higher, sometimes as much as $1000 for some mint condition toys.

Vintage Thundercats Lion-O
I collect vintage toys because I am a fan of vintage toys, so I'm not so concerned that there is not as much value to these toys. I remember watching Thundercats on a 13" black and white analog dial television with the volume all the way down so as not to wake Grandma. That's love! I was a big fan of Lion-O and the other Thundercats but I could never afford the toys. Now the price seems just right.

US $35.00
